'LASIK Operation, Bye Bye Spectacles'

It's a holiday and it means blogging time.. Lolz.. Seriously, I jz sort of bored alr.. Damn sian in effect.. Yesterday went thru an operation.. Haha.. Nw making quite a gd recovery.. Haha..

Wells, yesterday I worked half day @ my workplace.. Had a Christmas celebration as well.. It's was quite lively? Thou the place wasn't very decorated, but while we worked, people from other company sent us hampers.. Oh wells, since we belong 2 da government, we cun acept any gifts, so since we cun store it up 4 each individual use, we al opened up n share among da whole department.. Acty, da hampoers wer meant 4 da 2 sub-heads of our department.. HAha.. If nt it will b coruption.. Lolz.. Haha.. Enjoyed da drinking of da drinks la.. Non alcholic de hor.. HAha.. Ate nuts, chocolates.. Al da fattening stuffs u cld find.. Haha.. Wad a pity dun haf abolone.. If nt I sure go n tak n hide it.. Lolz.. Then jz went ard, say Christmas 2 everyone, and den went off 4 an eye check up..

Curious why I go eye check up rite? Cz I've gt plans to do my LASIK surgery.. Lolz.. It's an evaluation test on if ur eyes r suitable or nt.. It consists of Eye Power Test, Eye Pressure Test and taking picts of ur eyeballs.. No kidding.. The checkin of eye presure is, if i'm nt wrong, d measurement of da thicknes of da cornea.. It shoots jets of air in2 my eye.. Damn irritating, I've 2 redo it 4 my left eye cz my eye blink closed wen da air came in.. Lolz.. Had 2 go thru twice.. Sianz.. HAha.. Bt I mean if I wan 2 b cosmetic w my eyes, so I gt 2 put in som effort ma.. Cz ppl say '爱美必须付出贷价', so I juz gt 2 bear w it lorz.. I mean wad 2 do? Den aft da whoe series of test, som eye drops were dropped in2 my eye for pupil dilution.. I yink da purpose is 2 mak my pupil lok bigger so easier for diagnosis I tink.. Den waited for the nxt 30min or so, dn gt a consulation sesion 2 attend 2.. BAsically, it jz states wad happens b4 and aft ur opr, ad r da do's and dun's.. It was al writen on da piece of paper n bklet I recieve upon enterin da clinic.. So it ws helpful, loest I no nid 2 flip thru whole bk n read up.. HAha.. Bt it ws borin while waiting, so I more or less had read da whole bk.. Lolz.. Dn aft tt I went 2 da counter n 2 acknoeledge tt I've alr went thru da consultation n dn go n register that I wil b gg thru da consultation n advice buy the doctor.. Den I went 2 da doctor w my dad bside me.. Dun say I'm a litle kid still nid parents beside me.. It's a a major opr ok? It concerns my eyes.. Da impt organ of my life lorz.. Like ppl say 眼睛是灵魂之窗, hw cn I nt ask my parents along? Dn aft som clarification n verification by the doctor, dn I was recomaneded 2 do da wavefront type of lasik for it's more customized for each eye.. Then aft som discusion wif my parents, dey allowed me 2 do da wavefront type of lasik wif da financial suport frm dem.. Dn it was schduled to have da opr lik on da day itself in da evening.. Fast eh?

Then I went out n shopin a while calm myslef down la.. Haha.. Dn went back up again lik ard 5.30pm.. Cz it was schduled to be tt tim.. Dn wen I went up, da nurse led me in2 da prep rm 4 surgery.. Dn gt 2 sign da consent form, n understand da risk taken n al.. Dn I was al prep n wrapped up 4 opr lik in 30min.. Dn I waited da doctor lik frm 6pm to lik ard 6.50pm? Haha.. Dn I was called in 2 do da opr.. N everything was al set up n ready.. Dn I lay down on da bed, w da laser machine over me.. Dn I was being reviewed again for wad da opr wld b lik.. Heard da sound of da laser, n da procedure.. Aft tt, da opr started.. It started w da anesthesia.. Dey drip it ik dere's no tml.. Lest beta, u dun fel da pain.. Haha.. Dn waited 4 da anesthesia to kick in.. Dn da opr start w da creation of da cornea flap.. Da proces wld b horible if I tel u online.. Bt basicaly, dey used quite sophisicated tools 2 achieve da creatn of cornea flap.. A device was used 2 prevent u frm closing da eyes.. Dn aft tt light wer switched off, n my vision of da laser light b-com blured.. Dn started count 30 backwards w da laser on.. Dn da burnin smel cam lik ard 20 count onwards (i.e. 22, 21, 20).. Gt a bit scared, bt da doctor jz literaly pressed down on my head jz 2 prevent turnin of da head.. Dn it was done.. Dn da flap was put bac on, n eye droplets or rather eye moisture was dripped again lik dere's no tml.. Machaim fre lik tt.. Acty oso ok la.. I pay 4 it eh.. Haha.. Dn da sam was done w da left eye.. Da vision is quite cloudy, bt cld see wad's in front of me quite clearly, n it's lik ur vision gt covered by a wedding gown veil.. Dn aft da whole opr, I was asked 2 sit up n lok thru a meter again, 2 mak sure everything goes well n is ok.. N dn I was asked 2 go 2 da recovery ward.. Dn put on eye covers w tapes.. Lokin quite ugly I muz say.. Haha.. Dn went hm w parents w da medicatin alr given 2 me..

Da pain was nt so painful aft da opr on da left eye was done.. Bt it was damn sore n pain on da way 2 recoevry ward.. Damn itchy 2 rub 2 gt off da irritatn.. Bt it is a NO 2 tt.. So bear wif it.. Dropped eye antibiotics.. It's stinging pain.. By gt 2 bear w it.. Dn on da way bac hm.. Gt 2 close my eyes 2 ease da pain.. It's TORTUROUS 2 even open my eyes.. Da whole night I walked w my eyes closed lik 80%.. Damn jialat.. Kip tearin oso.. Machaim lik even scolded real bad.. Cryin non-stop.. Cldnt even raise my head 2 gret ppl.. Understand hw painful it is alr? Dn gt hm, bath n change.. Dn pop in da sleepin pill tt ws given n aplied da necessary medication, went 2 slp.. Dn da nxt day wak up, vision bac 2 ok.. Dn went for da follow up @ 1.45pm..

Dn @ da follow up, da doctor examined.. Dn went for da eye power test, if I nv hear wrongly, my astigmatism is zero, n my degree is lik 25.. Bt wil flactuate within 3 mths 2 stabilize.. So jz pray hard tt it wil drop to 0, so no nid 2 wear any glases or strain eyes 2 see things frm faraway.. Bt muz tak rrly gd care of da eyes nw.. Bt I muz say it's rrly beta dn wearin da contacts.. Cz no nid 2 tak it off or put it on wherever I go.. So it's worth it la.. Bt a bit ex I muz say..

So tt's all la.. Bt dn it's rrly expensive I muz say.. Dn nw I haf 2 protect da eyes wherever I go.. Lik go anywhere, jz put on sunglasses if it's 2 glaring.. So nw, cz my sight haven stabilize, so even da computer screen is glaring.. So nw even wen I do computer things, I put on da sunglasses.. Dun laugh or say I exaggerate.. Cz u go n try dis opr urself.. It's nt as ez as u tink.. Da care aft da opr is crucial.. So wear a sunglass 2 reduce, nth wrong ma.. Haha..

In a summary, I'm happy tt I cld gt rid of da glasses hopefully except sunglasses, n never 2 wear dem again..
