'Chinese New Year Transmission Log.. LOL'

Oh wells, it's a Chinese New Year, and to me it only means the last enjoyable holiday that 1 could get to enjoy before getting one's lazy ass or reluctance to work and complete the work load that 1 is assigned to. Then of course, it means money recieving for the kids and those unmarried singles below like 30 years old? The single part I not sure though, but the kids part I'm damn sure.. Because me is still a kid. '.'v Haha.. Then in anyway I know it's kinda late to have such an entry but nonetheless it's still that old saying "It is always better to have it than not to have it for good things", unless you want to have something bad to befall on you? I guess not right?

Well, perhaps me being a little cliche here a bit. Let's start off with the New Year resolution, though most of the time we don't really stick to it. But I guess it's a type of 'formality', so just do it anyway, no harm doing it.

First up on the list is I want to reduce weight and slim down! Haha.. This resolution I must say I didn't really achieve it in any case before except maybe when I'm in the army and when I was in Sec 3. I did really achieve weight reduction. However, this time I must really make sure it comes true lest try to get to a better looking shape and get the weight reduced. This is especially hard after all the feasting and perhaps gorging of the new year goodies and all the beers, soft drinks and wines. Guess this is a really really very hard resolution to achieve, but I must try to get at least half done.

Second on the list is to pass my IPPT as a NS man. It's pretty hard as the amount of physical training is not as much as before already. As I have a station less to take, I think I should be able to make it for that killer station of mine is taken out. So physical training is a must for this year and perhaps for the next ten years to come. So I must have the perseverance to do so. Fight on!

Third on the list, however, it does not signify or represent that it's not that important. That is I want to do well in my studies in the university. I sort of want to get a good degree with a excellent if not good Honours. Who would not want a First Class Honours?

Fourth on the list is that I want to earn lots of money even while I'm on University course. I guess that would come using my weekends as tuition timeslots. Therefore, throughout the years to come, I guess I must have a very good time management. So I guess this resolution could also be said to have a very good time management and money earning plan though hard work must be slogged before seeing the results.

Next on line is perhaps how was this Chinese New Year celebrated and perhaps other things.

Well, at the eve of the Chinese New Year eve, my YJ class had a gathering at the Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao for steamboat and other stuffs. We had the dinner at around like 9pm as our number of people is quite big. We ordered quite a bit and then ate a lot, ate till BULGING full, I was especially uncomfortable that night as it's really too full already. But then because of 1 person reckless order, we got to force ourselves and eat, damn jialat for the majority I guess. The gathering ended like around 11.45pm, then it was lucky that I drove there if not, the taxi price would have been really jialat and expensive. Then I offered those who stay near me a ride home, so just drove them home, make sure they are safe of course. You wouldn't want anything bad happen to any of your friends, would you? Then when I got home, it's like around 1am, it was really shag I must say. I really cannot tahan such late hours outside, and I think it was lucky that I forward the tuition on Sunday morning to Saturday evening, if not I sure bloody jialat.

Then well of course on Sunday we had both the reunion dinner and lunch. Lunch at my house, dinner at my uncle's house. It's really full that day, could not really do much either. Just sat down and eat slowly, and it ended up me eating more than what I actually plan to eat, so I guess it was something I didn't really expect ba. Then just laze around to do some ritual thing and then went to do my phone stuffs like doing of ringtones, images all these, then I slept at like 4am? Then next day I woke up like 8am? 4 hours of sleep, pretty shag in morning? I guess not as it's ANG POW Day! LOL

The rest of the days meaning 1st and 2nd day really did not have much to say as really nothing happen during these 2 days. It's sort of monotonous ba, and I still got the feeling of not wanting to go out and mingle with people. I really do not like it, and I think it's a hassle to mingle with people.

Another thing is this year's Chinese New Year don't really seem to have that kind of atmosphere. To me, it's kind of strange and perhaps sad. It shows that people do not really have the mood for spending and the festive mood is not up and there yet. But I guess people's mind is how to keep onto their job and not to face the unkind 'R' word. It's really very sad to got that 'R' word in such bad economy times, but yet it seems it is a necessary action in order to ensure survival through such bad times. It's sort of bad thing, and perhpas from another perspective which is the employer perspective, which is maybe they also don't wish to sack their employees, but as for the need to cut cost to ensure survival, they have no choice but to adopt such measures. I don't really know, perhaps I'm still a kid in my thoughts of analysis. This Chinese New Year is really a sad one.

Thus in conclusion, I guess I wish everybody with of course me myself, a very happy Chinese New Year and many happy returns!
